6 Top UK Seaside Hotels by OK Magazine

This week, our Royal Hotel in Scarborough has been featured in OK Magazine as one of the UK’s top 6 seaside hotels.
The Royal Hotel has been featured as part of the celebrity magazine’s regular supplements ‘Hot Stars Travel’.
Our Scarborough Hotel – praised for its “Yorkshire hospitality” – was selected alongside 5 others as one of the ‘top UK seaside hotels’.
The Royal’s excellent town centre location, whilst still providing those much sought after sea views, was highlighted as one of the hotel’s ‘special’ qualities and, being a celeb magazine, OK were delighted to discover that Gwyneth Paltrow was a previous VIP guest.
There was also a special mention for some of the town’s other attractions including the castle, the Rotunda Museum and Scarborough’s award winning beaches.
OK’s top tip for where to eat and drink in Scarborough recommended the traditional Yorkshire fare of the Royal Hotel’s Sea View Restaurant as well as suggesting that readers should try a Knickerbockerglory from the Harbour Bar.
The other hotels featured in the exclusive list were Western Hall in Millford-on-Sea, Knockinaam Lodge in Portpatrick, Hotel Du Vin in Brighton, Headland Hotel in Newquay and The Victoria Hotel in Bamburgh.
