Visitors to Scarborough Hotels to Enjoy Christmas Parade

The event kicks off tomorrow with all-day entertainment in Westborough from local bands and entertainers.
There will also be a snow machine to put shoppers in a festive mood and create a special atmosphere.
and on Sunday, Scarborough hotel visitors, will see the arrival of Santa who will lead a magical parade with his reindeers and sleigh.
The Christmas parade will start at Queen Street at 1pm. It will travel up the town to Alma Square and once there, the reindeers will be unharnessed and people can look at the animals and ask the handlers questions.
The parade, which will be followed by music and entertainment, will form the finale of this year’s Winter Wonderland weekend, putting residents of Scarborough, and visitors to Scarborough hotels all in the festive mood.
The parade, on Sunday December 21, will also start from Queen Street at 1pm.
It will proceed through Newborough and Westborough to the Live Nativity outside Woolworths where Mary and Joseph and the baby Jesus to-gether with shepherds and donkeys will greet them.
This will be followed with carols by the Hunmanby Silver Band and free mince pies.
